The Divisional Councils key role is member engagement and local support for CPA Australia and maintaining the integrity of the designation. Divisional Councils are an important conduit between the members and CPA Australia’s Board and the organisation more broadly. Depending on the size and complexity of the Division, regional committee branches, speciality interest and sector committees or networks may support the work of Divisional Councils in member engagement and advocacy activities. Divisional Councillors are elected by the membership in the Division, usually to a three-year term.

Jacquetta Griggs FCPA – Deputy President

Jacquetta is an accomplished finance professional with a breadth of experience in people leadership and business strategy. Jacquetta is the Chief Financial Officer for Australian Industry Standards and has a proven track record in delivering complex business initiatives across various industries and organisations. As a passionate advocate of the CPA Program, Jacquetta is working with the Education team on the Strategic Management Accounting Advisory Panel.

Richard Blakeman FCPA – Councillor

Richard has local and international experience in finance and administration, sales and marketing, customer support, supply chain and logistics, IS project management and general management in a number of industries. Retired from full time employment, he has previously held volunteer roles as board member and chair of the finance committee of the Herald-Austral Credit Union and Volunteering Victoria Inc., as a past Chair of the CPA Australia Third Age Network Committee and past member of the CPA Australia Representative Council. He is active in many community causes through his membership of Rotary International, where he is currently President of the Rotary Club of Glenferrie.
Anne La Fontaine FCPA – Councillor

Anne has worked in the IT sector for more than 25 years performing many finance roles, including senior management roles and directorships. She has led mergers, acquisitions and divestiture projects, and is experienced in corporate governance, operations, shared services and management accounting including multi-national and start-up environments. Most recently she has taken up the engagement on CPA’s Appointments Council. Anne is passionate about developing people, and mentors upcoming finance professionals.

Devini has held senior executive positions for more than 17 years in the financial services industry. Devini was the chair of the CPA Australia Victorian Corporate Committee in 2017 and 2018, and is the facilitator for the Corporate Discussion Groups. As a Divisional Councillor, she looks forward to working with members to reinvigorate the CPA Australia brand, service offering and professional development opportunities. She is keen for members to be supported throughout their career to achieve both professional and personal goals.

Katrina is an educator and facilitator in finance, accounting and business at Sunraysia Institute of TAFE, and a casual lecturer at La Trobe University in Mildura. In 2017 she received a fellowship from the International Specialised Skills Institute. She has held a variety of roles in financial reporting, management accounting, public practice and finance. Katrina has served as secretary for the Sunraysia Branch since 2010 and is passionate about promoting accounting as an exciting career to students and providing opportunities for them to engage with industry through the CPA Australia network.
