The Divisional Council's key role is to engage members and provide local support for CPA Australia, as well as maintaining the integrity of the credential. The council is an important link between members, the Board and the broader organisation.
Depending on the size and complexity of the division, regional committee branches and specialty interest or sector committees and networks may support the Divisional Council with member engagement and advocacy activities. The division's members elect councilors, usually to a three-year term.

Janssen Chan FCPA (Aust.), President
Sector: Business consulting
Janssen has been specialising in Hong Kong and China tax issues since the 1990s. He has extensive practical experience and knowledge in providing tax and business advisory services to multinational corporations in various business sectors. His professional experience includes corporate and individual income tax planning, tax due diligence/health checks, cross-border tax advisory, international tax issues, initial public offering-related tax assistance and entry strategies.
Eden Wong FCPA (Aust.), Deputy President
Sector: Financial services
Eden has more than 25 years of experience in the investment banking and asset management industries. He has overall strategic management responsibility for Green Park, which specialises in providing securities brokerage, asset management and corporate finance advisory services. Previously, Eden has held senior positions at international financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C, Credit Suisse, ING Barings, Barclays Capital and HSBC.
Johnny Lam CPA (Aust.), Deputy President
Johnny has more than 20 years of assurance and capital market related experience, particularly in listed companies, audit, initial public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Johnny is also one of the founders of OpenRice.com, a well-known restaurant guide website in Hong Kong.
Vickie Fan FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
Sector: Public practice
As the Managing Partner of Fan, Chan & Co., a member firm of Nexia International, Vickie oversees the firm’s audit, tax and advisory departments in Hong Kong and China. She has more than 15 years of experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) audits, financial and tax due diligence review for merger and acquisition, corporate advisory for Hong Kong and China entities. She also worked in the formation and restructuring of foreign direct investments in China.
Anthony Lau FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
Anthony is an International Tax Partner and the Hong Kong Investment Management Sector Leader at Deloitte China. He regularly advises clients on international tax issues associated with mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investment, group restructuring and other cross-border transactions involving Hong Kong, Mainland China and other Asia-Pacific countries.
Roy Lo FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
Sector: Public practice
Roy is responsible for various auditing and initial public offering (IPO) projects at SHINEWING. He has more than 20 years’ experience in auditing, business mergers and acquisitions, business appraisal, profit anticipation and listing arrangement. He is familiar with the operations and regulations of different industries. He also possesses extensive experience in internal control and risk management.
John Lo FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
John Shek Hon Lo joined Tencent Group in 2004 and has served as CFO since May 2012. Prior to joining, he worked as a senior manager (audit services) at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has an EMBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and HKUST.
Grace Ng CPA (Aust.), Councillor
Grace is responsible for SF Group’s corporate governance and financial management, including treasury, corporate finance, reporting, tax, financial planning and budgeting. Previously, she was with KPMG in Hong Kong for 19 years and has extensive experience in leading and managing audit and initial public offering (IPO) engagements in the transportation and logistics and consumer market sectors.
Wilson Pang FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
Wilson specialises in turnaround, restructuring, special situations and investment practice. He runs restructuring and reform assignments for Chinese enterprises and provides credit and risk advisory solutions to international and local Chinese banks to deal with distressed, overdue and non-performing loans. Wilson has more than 20 years of solid experience in China investment opportunities, including private equity, pre-IPO advisory and special situations investment.
Karina Wong CPA (Aust.), Councillor
Karina has many years of experience and expertise in tax compliance, business restructuring, cross-border transactions and implementation of tax effective strategies. She serves a diverse range of clients, from listed groups to privately owned businesses in various industries locally and internationally. Karina has an MBA from University of Technology Sydney.
Ryan Wu FCPA (Aust.), Councillor
Ryan is a Capital Market Group member and an Audit and Assurance partner responsible for management of audit and advisory engagements. He has more than 20 years of audit experience in initial public offering (IPO) projects and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for enterprises from both Hong Kong and Mainland China in various business sectors.
Angus Yiu CPA (Aust.), Councillor
Angus specialises in corporate finance, initial public offering (IPO) and financial analysis. As an accounting and financial professional, he also possesses strategic expertise and commercial experience in business operations with profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. Angus has worked across a variety of industries and companies, including Crystal International Group Limited, Li Ning Sportswear, SmarTone Telecommunication and Li & Fung.
