What we’re delivering for members
Celebrating 140 years together
In 2026, CPA Australia celebrated 140 years with members and communities around the world. From anniversary events and immersive experiences to a commemorative pin and the INTHEBLACK Bold Signals special edition, the celebrations brought our history to life while looking ahead to the future of the profession. Together, we recognised our shared legacy, celebrated our global community and acknowledged the role members continue to play in shaping what comes next.
CPA Australia on the world stage
By maintaining active engagement with IFAC, IAASB, IESBA, and other key international bodies, we support the global accountancy profession. This enhances our influence, ensuring your voice helps shape international standards and global conversations.
Over 250 student ambassadors
We’ve implemented a series of initiatives to increase the number of people seeking a career in accounting, including engaging people at school and university through career expos and expanding our student ambassador program. With more than 35 universities across six countries involved, the program empowers students to share information relating to CPA Australia, professional membership, and careers in accounting, finance and business within their peer networks.
Highlighting our members
CPA Australia continues to highlight diverse member voices through our Belonging Commitment initiatives, featuring leaders such as Sheetal Shah FCPA, Wayne Stokes FCPA and Jessimah Sulaiman FCPA, reflecting our inclusive and globally-connected professional community.
Member recognition ceremonies
In 2026, we will have 34 member recognition ceremonies across 12 countries – 14 ceremonies in Australia and New Zealand, 17 events in Asia, and three in emerging markets. These memorable events celebrate the advancement of CPA Australia members to CPA or FCPA status, significant membership milestones, and outstanding achievements. Each ceremony honours your professional journey in front of family, friends and peers.
Digital designation badges
We introduced the ASA, CPA, and FCPA digital badges, providing a modern way to display your credentials and reinforce your affiliation with our global community. By displaying your official badge in online spaces, you can easily and efficiently showcase your professional achievements and the hard work you’ve dedicated to your education and career.
