What we’re delivering for members
140th anniversary launch
CPA Australia is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2026 with a series of activations throughout the year to engage members and our community across the globe. To commemorate the occasion, an anniversary pin will be distributed, and a special hard-copy edition of our INTHEBLACK magazine is available from the end of March.
140th anniversary immersive zones
Our Sydney and Melbourne offices will host immersive zones highlighting our past, present and future, providing members with an opportunity to explore our legacy and vision through curated content and displays, including a compilation of items from our archives.
Globally, a series of member receptions tailored to local audiences will be held across our markets between May and June 2026, hosted in our offices and external venues.

Public Practice Retreat
The Public Practice Retreat connects members to world-class learning and global perspectives in a regional setting. Practitioners gain practical insights on regulation, advisory trends, and leadership, while networking with peers nationwide. The retreat strengthens capability, broadens thinking, and supports members in building resilient, future-focused practices.
International Women’s Day
The International Women’s Day livestream connected members worldwide to candid insights on equity, inclusive workplaces, and systemic barriers in the profession. Featuring leaders across regions, it offered practical perspectives and meaningful conversation, giving members a shared space to learn, reflect and contribute to shaping a fairer global accounting community.

Digital designation badges
We introduced the ASA, CPA, and FCPA digital badges, providing a modern way to display your credentials and reinforce your affiliation with our global community. By displaying your official badge in online spaces, you can easily and efficiently showcase your professional achievements and the hard work you’ve dedicated to your education and career.
Over 250 student ambassadors
We’ve implemented a series of initiatives to increase the number of people seeking a career in accounting, including engaging people at school and university through career expos and expanding our student ambassador program. With more than 35 universities across six countries involved, the program empowers students to share information relating to CPA Australia, professional membership, and careers in accounting, finance and business within their peer networks.
