Building on last year’s program, which successfully matched more than 750 mentor/mentee pairs globally, the Global Mentoring Program is now progressing through its 2026 matching phase, with pairs announced in April. Exclusive to CPA Australia members, the program connects mentors and mentees across the globe through a carefully considered matching process that aligns goals, experience, and development needs. Open to members no matter their location, the program supports meaningful one-to-one relationships that foster professional growth, skill development, and ongoing career progression.

We’ve received positive feedback about the inclusion of complimentary professional development for members who renewed on time for 2026. Associate members and CPAs received a Career Bundle, while FCPAs and members in retirement received a module from the AI and Data specialism. Surveyed members cited the complimentary learning as a valuable bonus that made renewing their membership more rewarding.

In 2026, we will have 34 member recognition ceremonies across 12 countries – 14 ceremonies in Australia and New Zealand, 17 events in Asia, and three in emerging markets. These memorable events celebrate the advancement of CPA Australia members to CPA or FCPA status, significant membership milestones, and outstanding achievements. Each ceremony honours your professional journey in front of family, friends and peers.

Members in Malaysia and Hong Kong received new locally tailored professional development suites, featuring regional experts, case studies, and micro-credentialled courses. These offerings delivered practical, relevant skills, including AI ethics and data analytics, so members can gain insights aligned to the unique business and regulatory environments in their local market.
