CPA Australia Board Director (Non-Executive Directors) - Nominations Now Open

CPA Australia invites nominations and expressions of interest to join its Board of Directors.

CPA Australia is one of the world’s largest professional accounting bodies, with a global membership of more than 176,000 professionals (as at 31 December 2025) across 150 countries and regions.

We support members through education, technical guidance and advocacy, and work with local and international bodies to promote excellence, enterprise and integrity—representing the profession with governments, regulators, industry, academia and the broader community. 

Applications are open to both members (CPA or FCPA) and non-members and must be submitted by Friday 29 May 2026, 5.00pm AEST.

About the opportunity

As a Non Executive Director, you will contribute to:

• Strategic oversight and long term sustainability of CPA Australia.
• Governance that supports CPA Australia’s delivery of member value through education, technical support and advocacy.
• Effective engagement across the profession, including with governments, regulators, industry and academia.

We welcome applications from candidates who demonstrate the highest ethical standards, strong governance capability, and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Board governance and leadership
• Education, professional standards and learning
• Audit, risk and compliance oversight
• Member engagement, brand and reputation
