CPA Australia app empowers members with on-the-go learning
CPA Australia has launched a new mobile phone app to provide convenient access to online courses, events information, podcasts and articles.
The CPA Australia App is exclusively for members and now available to download in the App Store and Google Play Store.
Key features include:
- Professional development: The app delivers a personalised feed of PD opportunities, from courses to podcasts, relevant to member interests.
- Tracking CPD with precision: Maintain professional compliance with ease by logging hours, uploading certificates and tracking progress with CPD Diary.
- Tailored insights on news and industry trends: Stay informed with a personalised newsfeed that delivers expert insights, industry trends and regulatory updates.
- Discovering CPA Australia events: Upcoming webinars, conferences and networking events will be recommended and can be added to calendars.
- Support whenever it’s needed: Get in-app access to CPA Australia’s support team.
CPA Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Freeland AM, said: “We’re very proud to bring this new app to market as the latest example of our continued dedication to providing ongoing member value.
“Part of this is providing convenient access to content on the move, but also to help bring members together through easily accessible event information and networking opportunities.
“Users can easily log on and manage their continuing personal development within the dedicated CPA Diary, as well as browse new courses to take. This is all part of our commitment to not only provide market-leading educational products, but also to make them easily accessible and on demand.”
Members who download the app can log on with their existing CPA Australia email address and password, and will be invited to personalise their experience by picking areas of interest. Relevant content and courses will then be recommended.
The home screen will provide helpful information including what events and courses members have registered and enrolled for, while the CPD Diary feature will show the number of hours completed.
Hundreds of CPA Australia members have already been involved in testing the app ahead of its public release and there are plans to continue to enhance app features moving forward.
The app will initially be available in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, the UK and EU.
Further details on the new app, including frequently asked questions, can be found here.
CPA Australia’s existing events app will continue to be utilised for major events including Congress, CPA Week and Public Practice Forums.
