    Professional Speaker and Corporate Educator, Persuasive Presentations Sharon Ferrier is a corporate educator, facilitator, coach and speaker. Sharon has a knack for making the complex simple. She believes that passionate people persuade’ and that to make your message stick, you need to balance information with delivery style.

    Sharon has qualifications in science and management and has done post qualification study in complementary fields ranging from business administration, marketing and journalism through to facilitation, improvisation and comedy. Sharon excels at helping people shine. She is a nationally accredited Trainer and Workplace Assessor and an accredited DISC ADVANCED facilitator. Sharon is a recent graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and in 2014 was presented with the Global Training and Leadership Award in Mumbai.

    Danielle travels Australia and globally as a speaker, course facilitator, financial modelling consultant and analyst;, was a guest on Excel TV and has been interviewed for several industry podcasts. She founded the Financial Modellers’ Meetup groups with over 5,000 members in seven countries and a LinkedIn forum of 40,000 members.  She holds an MBA from MGSM and has taught at Sydney University.

MC4: Budget and forecast modelling in Excel

This practical course covers issues such as using budgets to measure staff performance, linking budgets to the strategic planning process and a comparison of budgeting techniques.  We explore the difference between budgets and forecasts, and learn how to create your own budget model, perform what-if analysis, break-even and budget scenarios.

Training Outcomes:

In this practical course we will explore the difference between budgets and forecasts and attendees are encouraged to share their own experiences with the class.  During the class, participants will build their own capital expenditure forecasting model to bring a practical application to the skills they have learned.   The model will include capex shartpend, cashflow and depreciation calculations as well as scenarios and sensitivity testing.
