Ivan Au is an Assurance Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of accounting and assurance experience, with specialisation in leading multi-location assurance projects relating to China outbound investments, initial public offerings (IPOs) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). His clientele include conglomerates, retailers, consumer product companies and metal businesses.
Ivan was seconded to PwC in London from 2004 to 2006, where he managed the audits of UK listed companies. He also advised on IFRS conversion and financial due diligence for M&A deals.
Ivan has a Master of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) degree from The University of Sydney, Australia and was an Associate Lecturer and Head Tutor in Accounting at the University.
He is currently the 2018 Divisional Councillor of CPA Australia – Greater China and an adviser of Young Achievers Committee, and was the 2017 Divisional President of CPA Australia – Greater China.
