Recognised Employer Program – Learning and Development Minimum Standards
Content Summary
About the Minimum Standards
These standards are a core requirement of the REP application. Organisations must review and assess their organisation’s learning and development policies and practices to demonstrate alignment with CPA Australia’s expectations.
These standards outline key expectations for identifying development needs, delivering relevant learning opportunities, monitoring employee progress, and conducting meaningful performance appraisals. They are also designed to support CPA Australia members in meeting CPA Program and CPD obligations, while enhancing your organisation’s professional development culture.
Self-assessment requirement
The self-assessment helps determine your organisation’s readiness to meet CPA Australia’s Minimum Standards. It forms part of the REP Online Application and allows you to confirm areas of compliance or identify opportunities for improvement.
Before submitting your application, download and review the Minimum Standards document. It includes:
- comprehensive explanations of each standard
- guidance on supporting practices
- instructions for assessing alignment with CPA Australia’s expectations
- templates and tools to support your assessment.
