YOUR LEARNING PATHWAY

1

COMPLETE THE EDUCATION COMPONENT

This requires you to successfully complete four core subjects and two electives. However, if you received an exemption for prior study when you applied for Associate membership, you need only complete certain subjects as advised.

The CPA Program is available in three approaches so you can study your way and find the level of support you need to succeed. Choose between distance learning, full-time study or a combined Master degree. Check your outcome email if you’re unsure, or you can view this information in My CPA Program

If you require some further study before enrolling in the CPA Program, you can complete this through Foundation exams.

2

MEET YOUR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

While it’s natural to focus on your CPA Program study, don’t forget that in addition to the education component, you also need 36 months of relevant work experience before you’ll be able to advance to the CPA designation. This can be prior experience or completed during your studies, and can include volunteer work.

3

COMPLETE A DEGREE

Before you can advance to become a CPA, you need to complete a degree-level qualification from a recognised education provider.
