Professional Development and Events
We have previously advised that we were cancelling all face-to-face events until the end of May 2020. In line with the ongoing advice from government and health authorities, CPA Australia has decided to extend this in Australia and New Zealand and cancel all face-to-face member events until 31 August 2020.
Members who have registered to attend a specific event will be notified separately about that event and, in the case of paid events, will be able to receive a full-refund. As we have been doing, we’ll continue to increase our online offer to members while these restrictions remain in place. A decision about events scheduled after 31 August 2020 in Australia and New Zealand will be made in light of circumstances as they develop and will be communicated closer to the time.
Decisions about the resumption of face-to-face member events in countries and regions outside Australia and New Zealand will be made in accordance with the relevant government regulations and health advice in the respective regions, and will be communicated to members. CPA Australia will at all times prioritise the health and safety of members and employees.
