I’m Erandi Wickramaarachchi. I’m a bright CPA member and I’m from Sri Lanka.
I’ve been always looking for international qualifications, international recognised qualifications and then I studied and learned about the MRA between CA Sri Lanka and CPA Australia. And that gave me a path and opportunity for me to get one of the most recognised international qualification.
Being an accountant or being a CFO, so you always face ethical dilemmas every day – every other day. So actually CPA qualifications helped me a lot especially in terms of solving ethical dilemmas, and maintaining my professional dignity, and following my fundamental principles, and keeping my professional qualifications intact.
It’s helped me to possess very strong fundamentals in my career, especially this situation, the pandemic (COVID-19). CPA Program gives me strength, a big strength for me to keep my professional fundamentals and keep my head straight in terms of my career life.
The main advice that I would like to give to the person who would really like to follow the CPA Program – you may be a super busy person, but don’t stop studying. It’s not easy to balance your life and the work, while you’re doing your studies. Again, it’s the support being given by the CPA Program, all the staff, all the team – that’s helped a lot. Because it always increases your confidence level to get through your exams and get through your program.
I’m so proud to be a CPA member today. The CPA qualification is very highly regarded qualification in the industry, especially in the finance industry, and auditing industry, that boosted my professional value in terms of my career.
