Start a New Application if this is the first time you’re applying for a migration skills assessment, or if your previous application has expired.

Important:

  • You will need to create an account with CPA Australia if this is your first application. Otherwise, please log in using your existing Customer/Member ID number if you already have a current membership account with CPA Australia, or if your migration application has expired. Learn more about expired migration applications in assessment validity.
  • Login instructions for existing accounts with expired migration applications, or for current members of CPA Australia: to apply for a new assessment, please click on ‘Apply now’ (above), then log into your existing account by clicking LOGIN on the top right corner of the next page. If you have forgotten your Customer/Member ID number, please contact us.
  • Please note, if duplicate accounts are identified, in certain instances we may merge the records under a single account.

Use our Supplementary Services if you already hold a valid skills assessment application.

Supplementary Services

Our supplementary services enable you to:

  • update an existing application with additional details
  • request to be assessed under an additional ANZSCO code
  • request for skilled employment assessment
  • appeal an assessment outcome.

Important: When using our Supplementary Services, please sign into your account with the reference ID provided with your initial application. Creating a new account may cause delays in processing your application.

Processing time

It currently takes us approximately 15 to 20 business days to process applications once we receive all necessary documents. Please note this wait time may vary depending on the volume of applications.

If your application requires additional supporting details, your assessment will be put on hold until that information is received.

End-of-year office closure

CPA Australia offices will be closed during the 2021/22 festive season, from Monday 20 December 2021 to Monday 3 January 2022 (inclusive), and this period will be excluded from the processing times for migration applications. We will endeavour to process received applications as soon as possible after our office reopens on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
