What’s been happening this year
CPA Australia on the world stage
By maintaining active engagement with IFAC, IAASB, IESBA, and other key international bodies, we support the global accountancy profession. This enhances our influence, ensuring your voice helps shape international standards and global conversations.
Digital designation badges
We introduced the ASA, CPA, and FCPA digital badges, providing a modern way to display your credentials and reinforce your affiliation with our global community. By displaying your official badge in online spaces, you can easily and efficiently showcase your professional achievements and the hard work you’ve dedicated to your education and career.
Over 100 student ambassadors
We’ve implemented a series of initiatives to increase the number of people seeking a career in accounting, including engaging people at school and university through career expos and expanding our student ambassador program.
Highlighting our members
We continue to highlight the impact that CPA Australia members are having in the profession across the globe. In 2025, this has included Race Strauss FCPA, CFO, Virgin Australia Airlines; Josie Collins CPA, Commercial Analyst, Helimods; Wilson Pang FCPA, Head of Portfolio Solutions, KPMG; Najwa Abu Bakar FCPA, Sustainable Finance Institute Asia; Brent Szalay FCPA, Managing Director, SEIVA. We will enhance CPA Australia’s executive education footprint and reputation by providing modern, profession-aligned customised learning programs, strengthening the skills of finance and business leaders.
The Southeast Asia – Australia Youth Placement Program
We’re making a subset of this Australian Government–funded pilot program available to Recognised Employer Partners (REPs), providing a unique opportunity for emerging talent to gain international exposure through an employee exchange.
