Advisory Committees

Professional Education Advisory Committee

The Professional Education Advisory Committee advises management on the education framework for members, so that it can develop and monitor educational strategy relating to the CPA Australia professional programs.

Public Practice Advisory Committee

The Public Practice Advisory Committee (PPAC) provides management with advice and a forum for consultation on issues relating to the public practice sector, as well as advice on the development of strategies, regulations and support services so that it can manage and enhance the reputation of members working in the public practice sector.

Best Practice Advisory Committee

The committee advises management on how the CPA Australia Best Practice Program should be developed as well as recommending proposed changes suggested by CPA Australia's Executive General Manager, Professional Standards and Business Support. It also oversees the accreditation and training needs of assessors, as well as their performance, and recommendations on these issues are made.

Issues raised by members in public practice are also considered by the committee and recommendations are made to management as needed.
