Henry Fox Award

Know an outstanding public practitioner?

Nominations have now opened for the 2017 Henry Fox Award. The annual award recognises a CPA accredited public practitioner who has made an outstanding contribution to public practice in Victoria, with the winner announced at the Victorian Public Practitioners Conference dinner at Lorne on Friday 26 May.

The award was first introduced by the Public Accountants Committee (PAC) in 1991 and was named after Henry Fox, Chairman of the PAC from 1965 to 1973 and former CPA Australia Victorian division President.

Recipients of the award must be:

• a member of CPA Australia with a status of CPA or above
• highly regarded for professional competence and ethical behaviour by public practitioners
• a major contributor to the development and support of public practice issues.

Nominations for the award are considered by the Victorian Public Practice Committee who then put forward a candidate to the Victorian Divisional Council for ratification.
