Cyber liability insurance
Content Summary
Protect your clients’ data
Accountants are a highly targeted profession due to the sensitive data often kept on file, such as tax file numbers.
Australian Cyber Security Centre research has found that small businesses are often targeted by themed phishing emails.
Companies in Australia have to comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme. This makes it mandatory for businesses to report data breaches to the Government and their customers if the data breach is likely to result in data being misused.
