Completing the Public Practice Program is a requirement to obtain your Public Practice Certificate. This interactive program is both practical and outcome-oriented and has been designed to help set your business up for success. It is offered as either a two-day face to face workshop or a five-part virtual classroom series.
The virtual classroom series will guide you through the My Firm. My Future. Framework and support you to develop a Future Focus Plan. You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced public practitioners who facilitate the virtual classroom series and develop a network of contacts as you embark on this next step in your career.
Each session is designed to assist you in attaining the skills, knowledge and professional approach required for a successful career in public practice.
This comprehensive program requires considerable input from you as a participant. We recognise that you have already undertaken a major study program and many examinations to attain your professional qualifications. Accordingly, the program is structured to allow you to gain the knowledge that is most important for you.
Note: To successfully complete the Public Practice Program Virtual Classroom series, you must complete all five sessions. You must attend at least four sessions live and watch no more than one session via recording within five business days of the live session. Breakout rooms will be used throughout the sessions, and it is a requirement that you are present and participate in the breakout sessions to meet your attendance requirements and be eligible to apply for a Public Practice Certificate.
