The Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) 2.0 introduced by Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia requires financial statements to be submitted in structured XBRL format, increasing the need for accuracy in data mapping, consistency of disclosures, and system validation. Preparers and reviewers must now go beyond MPERS compliance to ensure high-quality digital reporting.
This workshop provides a practical, reviewer‑focused approach to mapping MPERS financial statements into MBRS 2.0 using the mTool. Through hands‑on exercises and real‑case illustrations, learners will identify common errors, perform validations, and apply quality review techniques to produce accurate and compliant submissions for single entities.
