Hi, my name is Joan Manseras, a Certified Practising Accountant of CPA Australia.

I decided to study the CPA Australia’s program because I have always aspired to gain an internationally recognise and very prestigious designation that is highly regarded with a lot of employers.

Achieving the CPA designation has given me the competitive advantage to stand out from the crowd, because it equipped me with the technical skills in finance and accounting, improved my personal and self-management skills, honed my leadership and decision-making abilities, and last but not least, enhanced my business knowledge.

One of the tools provided was the guided learning which had broken down and simplified the subject matter into a structured outline that helped me maximise my study time. There were tutorials, recorded webinars, quizzes, practice exams, and study plans provided. And I could even ask an expert, send questions or post questions to the forum.

All the learnings I’ve gathered from the business cases I have studied through the CPA Program, I am proud to say I have applied them in my day-to-day role, in my day-to-day job as an analyst in providing business models and business analyses to my partners and key stakeholders.

The courses I took showed how an accountant can thrive in a rapidly changing business world through agility and adaptability to face challenges.
