English language proficiency

Your English Language Proficiency test report must be valid at the time of your assessment outcome. Please ensure you provide a valid English Language Proficiency test report along with your qualification assessment application or any update, appeal or additional ANZSCO code request.

Verifying your English language test results

To meet the English Language Proficiency requirements, please provide a high-resolution colour scan of your test report. For assessment purposes, we must be able to verify your English language test result.

Are home and online tests recognised?

The Department of Home Affairs has advised that home and online English language tests are not recognised for migration skills assessments. We'll only accept results from tests performed at authorised test centres.

Fraudulent test results

We may reject applications containing fraudulent English language test results. If this happens, we cannot guarantee a refund will be issued and you may be reported to the Department of Home Affairs. For further advice please contact Home Affairs directly.
