I'm Asim Mehta. I'm a proud fellow member of CPA Australia and I'm from Mumbai India.

I've heard very positively about CPA Australia and all that it offers, so, it was a straight forward choice for me to sign up for the CPA Program.

For me, what it offers is the ability to gain a professional qualification, which I can use to leverage the accounting and financial services background in Australia and New Zealand, which are among the most vibrant markets we have today.

We live in a world where technology is playing an increasing part in the banking and financial services landscape. The curriculum that CPA Australia has is continuously updated and I have all the skills necessary to offer the best-in-class solutions to our clients.

CPA Australia is making sure that there is an opportunity to continuously upskill ourselves, so that we have the necessary skills for our jobs and make sure that we do not become irrelevant in the ever-changing landscape.

It is very relevant to what I do at work, and I could literally directly apply concepts from that subject that I learnt to the real-life situation that I face while doing my job every day in office.

Ultimately, I would want to be in a position where my clients in Australia and New Zealand are able to get the best-in-class professional services.

I wanted to make sure my accounting experience that I have can be leveraged and used across more markets. And CPA Australia opens up Australia and New Zealand as places where I can literally offer my experience and expertise.

It is not a one-time event. It is a continuous journey of learning, and evolving and making sure that you are continuously equipping yourselves with the necessary skills, that help us provide best-in-class solutions to our clients and businesses that approach us in an ever-changing and challenging landscape.
