Have a great start and a rewarding career
Indigenous Accountants Australia is a joint initiative of CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). We want to encourage more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to pursue careers in accounting.
We understand that getting into accounting might seem hard, but with Indigenous Accountants Australia and our team at CPA Australia, we can help you realise your dreams.
An inspirational Indigenous Australian CPA
Sarah Richards is on the Advisory Committee of Indigenous Accountants Australia. She tells her story and offers up some great insight at the IAA website:
“Becoming an accountant can be beneficial for your community because it equips you with the skills you need to provide financial and project advice about where and how to use funds effectively on community projects.”
