STANDARD 1: QUALIFICATION

The accounting program qualification meets the following academic entry requirements of the accounting profession.

  • Leads to the completion of a TEQSA or NZQA approved bachelor degree or postgraduate award in Australia or New Zealand
  • Is delivered by a higher education provider registered with TEQSA or NZQA.

Guideline

  • Assurance that the provider is a TEQSA or NZQA registered higher education provider and is capable of delivering a TEQSA or NZQA approved program at least at bachelor degree level throughout the period of accreditation.

Evidence

  • Evidence of program and higher education provider registration with TEQSA or NZQA including the date of the most recent approval and reaccreditation due date.
  • A copy of all recent final reports from other accreditation bodies (if any).
  • The most recent annual report for the higher education provider.
