On 23 October 2025 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Sarjosh Singh Goraya breached CPA Australia’s 11 May 2022 Constitution (“the Constitution”) Article 36(a) in that he had “committed, participated in or been involved with an Adverse Event”, as defined in:
- Article 76(i) of the Constitution by having “pleaded guilty to, or was found guilty of (either without conviction or with a final conviction), any offence (criminal or otherwise, but excluding any offence relating to traffic infringement) before any Court in any jurisdiction, which in the Board’s reasonable opinion, is likely to have a material adverse effect on the Company’s standing or reputation;” in respect of his conviction on 3 counts of obtain financial advantage by deception and one count of attempt to commit indictable offence, to the detriment of his employer, Heinz Australia in the sum of $244,612.70.
Mr Goraya attended the Disciplinary Tribunal and admitted the complaint.

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:
Complaint 1:
- Forfeiture of membership; not eligible for readmission.
Mr Goraya was ordered to pay a contribution to CPA Australia’s costs of $13,286.50.
