Your professional obligations

Northern Territory PSL liability limited scheme gazetted
The gazettal of the professional standards legislation (PSL) liability limited scheme in the Northern Territory means that CPA Australia has schemes gazetted in all mainland states and territories.

Three professional standards legislation schemes operational in April
Certificate holders are reminded that PSL liability limited schemes have become operational in Western Australia on Tuesday 1 April and South Australia on Monday 14 April. The Victorian scheme will be operational on Monday 21 April.

Clarification of disclosure information
CPA Australia would like to confirm that it has set a transition period for their certificate holders to implement limited liability disclosure requirements on business stationery.

PSL liability limited schemes information kit
CPA Australia has put together a suite of materials on PSL, professional indemnity insurance and public practice branding to assist certificate holders over the 12 month transition period following the introduction of PSL liability limited schemes.
