Providing the annual report in digital format for 2007 helped reduce the amount of paper needed to produce the report, and therefore reduced our carbon footprint.
For this annual report we saved approximately 10.7 tonnes of paper (10,700 kilograms).
One tonne of paper uses:
24 trees
2 barrels of oil
28,000 litres of water
4100 kw hours of electricity
So, we saved more than:
240 trees
20 barrels of oil
280,000 litres of water
41,000 kw hours of electricity
