Survey on accounting for small and medium entities (SMEs)

CPA Australia commissioned the Corporate Governance and Financial Reporting Centre, National University of Singapore to investigate views on the introduction of IFRS for SMEs as proposed by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

The survey was conducted during June-July 2007 and captured the views of a sample of CPA Australia members working in public practice and SMEs in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The survey results reveal interesting insights into the views of CPAs from across the region, and will be used by CPA Australia to inform its submission to the IASB.
