Budget comments draw international response
CPA Australia president Alex Malley was quoted in various media in response to the Rudd government's first Budget. His comments featured in Australian radio, print and online media. Malley was also interviewed live on Bloomberg Television in Hong Kong on the Australian Budget.

While in Hong Kong and Beijing, CEO Geoff Rankin was interviewed by reporters from the China Financial and Economic News and the China Economic Herald. He talked about the general shortage of accountants and how the CPA designation enables accountants to operate in any country or industry.

CPA Australia has released its annual media kit of end-of-financial-year tax tips for individuals and business. These have attracted wide media coverage, with senior tax advisers Mark Morris and Garry Addison quoted in a range of print and online media as well as on radio.
