About the Europe branch

CPA Australia

With a membership of more than 117,000 finance, accounting and business professionals across the globe, CPA Australia is the sixth largest accounting body in the world.

CPA Australia’s mission is for CPAs to be leaders in providing finance, accounting and business advice. The central goal of the organisation is to enhance its members’ status and competitive advantage.

An accredited undergraduate business degree is required for Associate membership, with progression to CPA status subject to completion of the CPA Program and Mentor Program.

Our international presence continues to grow in terms of representation on international bodies and influence in the profession globally. Education, training, technical support and advocacy are our core services for members. Staff and members work together with local and international bodies to represent the views and concerns of the profession.

European Branch Council

The European Group was established in 1978 to facilitate CPD training and networking opportunities for European based members.

In November 2005 a fully staffed office was opened in central London with the aim of expanding services, enhancing representation and supporting the European Branch Council.

Regional representation

We currently have regional representation in Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Prague. We are looking to expand this coverage to include Frankfurt and Zurich also.
