There are seven Centres of Excellence (CoEs) which are comprised of members with special expertise in core areas.

They provide thought leadership and highlight and explore issues and trends likely to affect members and the profession.

CoEs support CPA Australia in developing and shaping policy on issues impacting the members in the seven core areas of:

• business and management
• financial advisory services
• finance and treasury
• financial reporting and governance
• information, technology and management
• public sector
• taxation
