Discussion groups are organised at divisional level and are a service to members. They provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas based on a common interest.
Groups may be based on occupations, on location, or on a special interest of particular members. For example, groups may form around a particular occupational area (e.g. the construction industry, architecture or public practice).
These groups might be further sub-divided into geographic areas (e.g. Southern Suburbs Public Accountants). Or groups may be formed around a technical interest such as information technology or taxation, or through ethnic or religious bonds as in the case of Christian accountants.
For a list of discussion groups in your state or country, use the discussion group search facility on the website.
To join a discussion group contact the person listed on the discussion group page. To start a new discussion group contact your nearest office.
