About committees

Each of the eight divisions of CPA Australia functions under a divisional council, which is a body elected by the members of a state or territory to represent its total membership.

Each division operates a committee system and at divisional level there are also joint committees involving representation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Divisional committees are representative groups such as the public practitioner committees and industry and commerce committees.
