How the register works

Members are invited to submit their qualifications to join the CPA Directors Register. All applications will be assessed and the outcomes communicated to individual applicants.

The CPA Directors Register is available to business and organisations, including large listed and proprietary companies, small to medium-sized businesses, and the not-for-profit and public sectors.

Any business or organisation, registered in Australia under Australian Law, looking for independent directors and officers must fill in a form similar to members applying for the register. This information is then used to match the members that best fit the criteria identified.

Each member is then contacted and advised that their details are to be passed on to an interested organisation. At this point a general overview of the organisation is provided to the member.

The member has the opportunity to advise if they do not wish to have their details passed on.
