Michael Davison is CPA Australia's superannuation policy adviser.
Michael joined CPA Australia in October 2003 and is responsible for developing policy positions on superannuation and retirement savings. He regularly liaises with the Government and its departments on changes to superannuation and the introduction of new legislation. He has appeared before a number of parliamentary inquiries and has been closely involved in consultation on recent superannuation reforms. Michael is also CPA Australia's spokesperson on superannuation.
With 18 years experience in the superannuation industry Michael has a keen interest in retirement savings policy. He has held a number of diverse roles within the industry, including product development and management, technical management and advice, regulation and administration with firms such as Rothschild, Colonial and BT and the former Insurance and Superannuation Commission.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
