Garry Addison CPA is CPA Australia's senior taxation consultant.
He covers tax reform issues for the organisation, including GST, PAYG and business tax reform. He has represented CPA Australia on business tax reform at various ATO consultative forums, including the National Tax Liaison Group, ATO Tax Practitioner Forum and the various sub-committees and working groups of those bodies. Prior to joining CPA Australia in 1999, Garry was a senior tax manager with AXA (formerly National Mutual) and a major accounting firm. He also has extensive experience in financial and taxation policy issues in the public sector, having worked for the Federal Treasury, New Zealand Treasury and the ATO.
Garry also has qualifications in Economics and Law.
