What is advocacy?
blue horizontal line

Advocacy is an important part of CPA Australia's day-to-day activities whether it is meeting with government ministers, representing the organisation at an international level, making submissions, releasing policy documents, sitting on external committees or participating in industry, government and academic working parties.

Members and staff undertaking advocacy activities ensure members' views are heard at the highest levels.

We value your ideas and welcome your participation in policy development and submissions to government. CPA Australia policy positions are formulated through member discussion groups, the Centres of Excellence, business committees and governance.

If there is a policy issue you believe CPA Australia should raise with government, please email us
