About the 'Go Places' campaign
blue horizontal line

The 'Go Places' series evolves from the earlier ‘Going Places’ advertising campaign that showed real CPAs building successful international careers. The advertisements again feature CPAs working in inspirational roles with some of the world’s most recognised companies, in a range of exciting international locations.

Three motivated and high-achieving CPAs are featured: Nicolette Sharp CPA, director of worldwide strategy and business management with Microsoft in Seattle; Jason Boyd CPA, director, internal controls with Coca Cola Bottling in Toronto; and Kevin Trantallis CPA, business analyst with Christian Dior in Hong Kong.

In a combination of 15 and 30 second commercials, each featured CPA speaks in their own words about their global careers and the opportunities created by being a CPA. The campaign shows each actively enjoying the lifestyle of their current location, as they speak about the advantages of being able to work around the globe.

The new campaign is directed at potential members, and highlights the international recognition and portability of the CPA designation. The advertisements will raise awareness of the opportunities to build global careers in a diverse range of finance, accounting and business roles.

‘Being a CPA opens the door to career opportunities worldwide. It is a highly portable designation that provides a real career advantage,’ says Ian Mayer, general manager of reputation and standards at CPA Australia. ‘The new campaign showcases young professional CPAs achieving great career success on the world stage. Currently we have CPAs working in 95 different countries around the world.’
