How to be a successful candidate

University of Tasmania (UTas) students learnt about opportunities to work in Asia and the potential career pathways for a CPA at a seminar in Hobart.

CPA Australia's international recruitment adviser, Kim Hwang, gave 40 international students an insight into migration requirements and how to be a successful candidate for the Australian job market.

The students were eager to hear information about Australian culture, the CPA designation and the pathways they could take with their accounting and finance careers.

CPA Australia Tasmania director Allyson Warrington and business development executive Sarah Bryan also hosted a morning tea for Ms Hwang and nine academic staff from the School of Accounting and Corporate Governance at UTas.
