CPA Australia will produce the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) practice management guide, which will provide guidance on the management of a practice in order to operate in a safe, profitable and professional manner.
The guide will benefit members and all professional accounting association members in public practice across the globe.
Focusing on small to medium enterprises (SME), the IFAC practice management guide will also provide access to comprehensive best practice tools and resources on practice management.
Practitioners in Australia and abroad, second tier firms, professional accounting bodies and other professional associations with best practice SME management experience will all have input into the development of the guide.
CPA Australia was granted won the tender to produce the guide, which recognises the organisations knowledge and expertise in practice management, and position as a premier global brand.
The IFAC practice management guide is expected to be available by December 2009.
