If you strive to be your best, want to build your networks or are seeking to gain a competitive edge, then the first Business of Sport Luncheon for 2008 to be held on Friday 25 July is for you.
Guest speaker Duncan Armstrong, Olympic gold medallist and former sports commentator, will teach you how to achieve your personal goals and corporate success.
He will also talk about how success doesn't just happen but is a process you have to work at.
Mr Armstrong rose to international fame when he broke the world record to take home the Olympic gold medal for the 200 metres freestyle at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. During his epic swimming career, he went on to win gold at the Commonwealth Games, Pan Pacific Championships and numerous national and international championships.
After retiring from swimming in 1993, Duncan went on to pursue a successful career in media and corporate coaching. He has been described as an underdog, a larrikin, a businessman, a champion and his inspiring presentation will appeal to everyone.
The cost to attend is $90.00 for members, $105.00 for non-members and $720.00 for a table of eight. Tickets include a two-course plated lunch and beverages.
The luncheon will be held between 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm at the Establishment Hotel, level 3, 252 George Street, Sydney.
