The 2008 Small Business Champion Awards, which recognise the achievements of small businesses in the retail, service and manufacturing industries, are now open for nominations.
The awards are open to Australian retail or service businesses with 40 employees or less and Australian manufacturing businesses with 100 employees or less.
There are 36 award categories, including 'Small business champion entrepreneur' and 'Young small business champion entrepreneur'.
All finalists will be invited to attend a presentation evening, with each state and territory winner then being eligible for the national awards, to be presented at a gala dinner in November.
