This process is available to applicants who are in their final semester and want to apply for a Membership Entry Pathways Assessment and enrol in the CPA Program, but their higher education provider will not have their academic transcripts available before the first enrolment cut-off date.

What do I need to submit to apply for conditional enrolment?
To apply for conditional enrolment you need to submit:
- a letter from you requesting a conditional enrolment
- all documentation requested in the online application summary or offline application form, except transcripts
- a web printout of your transcripts showing your results
CPA Australia must receive your application and above documentation prior to the first enrolment cut-off date to accept your conditional enrolment.
What happens next?
CPA Australia will assess your qualifications based on the information provided and send an email to you providing you with a provisional assessment result. The result will inform you of what components of the CPA Program you need to complete to become a CPA, including your next steps in becoming an Associate member or Foundation student and enrolling into the foundation or professional level of the CPA Program.
What happens after the assessment is complete?
Official transcripts and evidence of degree completion (if applicable) must be submitted once you receive these documents from your higher education provider.
When submitting the official transcripts and evidence of degree completion, it is important that you provide:
- a cover letter advising the documentation are additional documents for a prior ‘conditional enrolment application’
- the reference number (or username) for your assessment application
- your full name and date of birth
Once your official documentation has been received, CPA Australia will remove the provision around your assessment outcome.
