Q. How many items can I borrow?
A. Five items can be borrowed at a time.
Q. How long is the loan period?
A. Two weeks with the option to renew.
Q. How many renewals can I have?
A. The maximum number of renewals is four, after which time we ask that items be returned. The renewal period is two weeks.
Q. How can I renew my loans?
A. To renew items online, go to Borrowed items section of the Manage your library items page.
Items that have reservations on them cannot be renewed and need to be returned by the due date
Q. How can I borrow items or use the library if I don't have a library card?
A. No Library card is required when using the CPA Library. Members visiting the library are asked to show photo ID and if possible have their membership number handy. When using the CPA Library online, you will be required to enter your member number and password.
Q. How can I use the library if I don't know my member number and password?
A. Go to the password reminder or email mais.advisory@cpaaustralia.com.au for assistance
Q. How can I borrow without coming in to the library?
A. Items requested online can be express posted to borrowers within Australia.
All items that cannot be returned in person are to be returned by express post.
Q. I am residing outside of Australia; can I borrow items from the library?
A. Only members residing within Australia can borrow from the library. However, all members of CPA Australia have access to a number of online resources including full text journals, newspapers and e-books.
Q. How do I gain access to articles that are not available online if I cannot come to the library?
A. CPA Library provides requested articles that are not currently available online and in its hardcopy collection. Members requesting such articles will be asked to fill in a copyright declaration form.
