A. CPA Update is a weekly e-newsletter published by CPA Australia. The e-newsletter alerts subscribers to the latest news, professional changes and developments in accounting, finance and business.

Q. How do I subscribe?
A. CPA Australia members can register by accessing CPA Update on the CPA Australia website.

Non-members can also subscribe by either receiving a copy of the e-newsletter from a friend or by using the subscription form.

Q. How do I unsubscribe?
A. Select the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-newsletter.

Members can also manage their communications through manage my membership on the CPA Australia website or by contacting their local CPA Australia office.

Q. How do I change the location of the newsletter I receive?
A. Members can update their location through manage my membership on the CPA Australia website or by contacting their local CPA Australia office.

Q. Can I receive news for more than one location?
A. No.

Q. Can I access news for other locations?
A. Yes. You can access all news from the news and media section on the CPA Australia website.

Q. Why does the e-newsletter look different in my email program from the online version?
A. The exact appearance of the e-newsletter will depend on the capabilities of your email program.

Q. Why isn’t the e-newsletter index linking to the articles?
A. Some email programs do not support this feature.

Q. I get an error when I click on the links to more information. How can I fix this?
A. Check you are connected to the internet as these links point to live web pages. Some websites are blocked from company firewalls, so check with your information technology department for possible solutions. If accessing the e-newsletter from home, you may need to add the website to your secure list.

Q. How can I see the images in the newsletter?
A. Right mouse click on the images and select view images.

CPA Australia has designed the email so that it remains completely usable and readable without images. Some email programs have default security settings that hide images. Also, many corporate information technology departments block images and attachments in emails.
