Become a CPA seminar

CPA Australia is hosting a number of Become a CPA seminars in cities across the globe. These events showcase how the CPA designation gives you the advantage in your career and how to apply for CPA Australia membership.

At the Become a CPA seminar you will: 

• learn more about the CPA Program, view course examples and gain greater knowledge of what the CPA designation can do for your career
• receive a free^* preliminary assessment of your education and qualifications to determine where your CPA Program journey begins (valued at $138)
• develop a personal CPA Australia contact point who will be able to assist you with any further enquiries
• enrol to become a CPA Australia member

Prior to attending a Become a CPA session

1. Accredited courses

• check to see if your education and qualifications are accredited by CPA Australia for entry to the CPA Program

2. Prepare supporting documentation for your Membership Entry Pathways Application

• 100 Points of identification
• proof of change of name (if applicable)
• academic qualifications (including award and transcripts/statement of results )
• syllabus detail for all qualifications not accredited by CPA Australia
• professional body qualifications (if applicable) – exams results, membership certificate or current letter of good standing (if applicable)

3. Important information regarding your supporting documents

• please bring along your original supporting documents to be photocopied and verified at the event.
• to fast track your submission, please bring certified photocopies of your supporting documents along with your originals for verification purposes

^*To be eligible for the free preliminary assessment you need to bring supporting documentation as outlined. If you are assessed as eligible to join the CPA Program, you will also need to commit to 2012 CPA Australia Associate Membership at the Become a CPA Seminar.

Note: A formal result will be issued subject to validation from CPA Australia.
