Coal Point, New South Wales, appointed Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community through the Uniting Church in Australia.

Barry Sargeant FCPA

Perth, Western Australia, awarded Public Service Medal for outstanding public service in Western Australia, particularly as director general, Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor.

Malcolm Hughes FCPA

Rockingham, Western Australia, appointed Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division for service to veterans and their families in the Western Australian State Section of the Naval Association of Australia.

Noel Whittaker FCPA

Hawthorne, Queensland, appointed Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia for service to the community in raising awareness of personal responsibility in matters of superannuation, household budgeting and estate planning through contributions to government initiatives and tertiary education.

Peter Kowald CPA

Wanniassa, Australian Capital Territory, awarded Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to the Australian Capital Territory Vocational Education and Training sector.
