Sustainability reports

The CPA Australia 2010 Sustainability Report is our third independently assured sustainability report that is compliant with the Global Reporting Initiative. The report highlights our activities in key areas of thought leadership, carbon emissions, human resources, governance and community involvement. Key achievements include:

• launching a new structure and syllabus of the CPA Program incorporating updated subject matter on sustainability, non-financial performance and governance
• establishing the Environmental, Social and Governance Centre of Excellence as well as sustainability focused knowledge portals, online communities and discussion forums
• delivering sustainability focused professional development to 3000 members and non-members.
• providing financial literacy training to more than 600 disadvantaged Australians via a partnership with Mission Australia

CPA Australia is committed to sustainability reporting and sees the move towards integrated reporting as one of the key ways to integrate sustainability into organisations. CPAs will be pivotal to the development of integrated reporting and CPA Australia will continue to educate and inform members, the profession and the wider community about sustainability issues.
