John's story

John began his career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in 1993. He then became the accounting and finance manager with the Intercontinental Group – one of the largest entertainment groups in Hong Kong and one of the first to introduce Hollywood films to the Hong Kong market.

In 1996, John was promoted to Intercontinental's director of finance and business affairs. In 2002, John moved to the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Asia Pacific, where he currently is the executive director of sales and finance.

John's CPA background has enabled him to work as a highly effective communicator with the ability to encourage different individuals and departments. His focus is achieving common goals. John oversees the regional finance and sales functions across the Asia Pacific region. The strategic financial analysis he and his teams devise give Disney films the best chance of success at the box office.
