A series of exclusive roundtable forums entitled ‘Unlocking the potential of the SME sector’ were held by CPA Australia and CGA-Canada in May and June 2010.
A range of videos from the roundtable events, including interviews with Alex Malley, CEO, CPA Australia can now be found on the CPA Australia website, as well as the Report of the forum on SME issues.
The forums specifically identified issues and influences that are acting as a barrier to the economic potential of the small-to-medium enterprises (SME) sector.
Issues covered in the forums included: reducing the regulatory burden faced by small business; creating the right incentives through tax reform; and access to finance issues.
